Happy Holidays from The LMM Fund

Dear Friends and Supporters of The Lisa Michelle Memorial Fund,

As we take time during the holiday season to reflect on 2017, we here at the LMM Fund have so many things to be thankful for.

The LMM Fund had another successful year and continues to grow. In April, we were fortunate to be featured on Valentine in the Morning’s radio show. They gave their listeners information about our mission and even posted a photo on their Instagram page wearing LMM Fund t-shirts.

We provided our second scholarship to Daniele Martino who attends Iona College, located in New York. The Lisa Michelle Memorial Fund was established to assist and recognize students who have lost a parent to substance abuse and we were proud to award a $1,000 scholarship to assist Daniele in her academic journey. You can read more about her here. We will start accepting applications for our 2018 scholarship on January 1, 2018.

Our 2nd Annual Softball Tournament fundraiser was successful again this year. We raised around $1,800 all thanks to our sponsors, volunteers, and participants. The event grew from 4 to 6 teams and we are excited to see the turn out for our 3rd Annual Softball Tournament next year.

These are just a few of the things that make me proud to lead The Lisa Michelle Memorial Fund. I look forward to what the future holds for this organization and to making a difference in the lives of these students.

As always, we couldn’t have done all of this without the generous donations made by individuals and organizations. All donations make a difference in the lives of students who have lost a parent to substance abuse and we are so grateful to have your support.

In the spirit of the holidays, the LMM Fund would like to wish you health and happiness this Holiday Season and prosperity in the New Year.

Sincerely,

Danielle E. Olson
