August 31st is International Overdose Awareness Day. It’s a day to remember the loved ones we’ve lost to overdose, but also to educate ourselves on the signs of overdose. We need to continue to bring awareness in order to prevent more deaths from overdose. Visit the Overdose Awareness website for more details on how you can get involved and how to spot an overdose.
There are 3 months left to apply for the Spring 2026 Lisa Michelle Memorial Fund Scholarship. We are offering three scholarship awards start this fall thanks to our generous donors over the years. 1st Place $1,000; 2nd Place $500; and 3rd Place $250. The deadline to submit the application and supporting materials is November 30, 2025. We look forward to receiving submissions and hearing your stories.
