We have some exciting news and need your help! The Lisa Michelle Memorial Fund has been nominated for the 104.3 MyFM Val’s Pals presented by Southern California Nissan Dealers.

“Val’s Pals is a program started by the Valentine in the Morning Show to help bring awareness to charities right here in the Southern California area. Each Friday they wrap up the week by highlighting a different charity on the show!”

All nominations are in and now is the time to vote! Help the Lisa Michelle Memorial Fund win a $20,000 donation thanks to the Southern California Nissan Dealers.

Today would’ve been Lisa’s 53rd birthday. Lisa didn’t need anything extravagant. It was always about the simple things. She loved her Starbucks iced frappuccino drinks. She loved her handmade cards. She loved spending time with her children.

Everyone who knew Lisa wishes she was still with us, but we know she’s proud of how the Lisa Michelle Memorial Fund assists students who’ve lost a parent to substance abuse. She would want us to bring awareness to the struggles she had and how it effected her family. She would want us to help these students come to terms with a loss that her own children had to endure.

Today we will celebrate the life she had and remember her as a loving mother. While it was her struggle with addiction that ultimately took her from this earth, her loving spirit and kindness live on in the people she knew and cared about.

Thank you to all our wonderful supporters who make the Lisa Michelle Memorial Fund possible. We couldn’t do this without you.
